Lisa is a writer of television, film, digital and stage. She is one of the Edinburgh TV Festival’s Ones To Watch and an inaugural delegate for Edinburgh TV Festival’s ReConnect 2023. Lisa was the winner of the US Indie Series Award for Best Drama Writing for her digital series, 3some.
Lisa’s list of jobs before becoming a writer include brickie, barista, bartender and NHS manager, and she is passionate about bringing her working-class roots to her writing. She was previously known as her alter-ego Jane Childs; a wrestling ring announcer and ‘heel’ manager. She is still passionate about professional wrestling, a lifelong love affair that started when her grandmother took her to shows as a child, and travels the world to watch wrestling events.
Lisa lives in Liverpool and when she isn’t writing or wrestling, she enjoys gaming and herding cats.
